Want To Try Meth? These Ads Will Change That

The Anti-Meth campaign has been going on for a while now, and it has proven to be a very effective campaign. I’ve seen the ‘Not even once’ commercials and billboards, but just saw these new ones while driving around Denver the other day.

I did some searching and found a collection from other states where they are using this campaign, the one thing I had a hard time finding was the agency behind them, FINALLY found them! Venables, Bell & Partners in San Francisco.

Oh yeah, those are good. A little cheesy though. I think the meth ones are more affective.

this campaign is negative for “quality of life” imho. i think 99% of the people who have to see these terrible billboards aren’t considering using meth.

when people are driving around doing their daily thing they don’t want want this nasty shit shoved in their face. if your taking your kids somewhere you don’t want them thinking about prison rape, pimping girl’s out for drugs, virginity lost in a filthy bathroom, self mutilation, armed robbery…etc.

plus, it sends a shitty message/hurts denver’s image to people visiting the city. like denver is just so fucking full of meth heads and there’s such ridiculously rampant problem that these billboards were actually needed. it’s not good. when my friends and i were in Laramie, WY a few years back i saw my first anti-meth billboard and immediately thought “wow, what a shitty place to live”
